Daniel Starts Speech Therapy... and Gets a Haircut

I am sure I have talked about it before, but we have noticed a speech/language delay with Daniel. His pediatrician actually wrote the "prescription" for a speech evaluation back in November, but holidays and just LIFE kept me from making the call to set up the evaluation. I finally called Feltz Therapy back in January and sent them the doctor's orders for the evaluation at that time, but we weren't "matched" with an SLP (speech language pathologist) until February and then had a couple of false starts due to icy weather. Finally, on March 12th, Daniel had his first session with Ms. Lauren. He did really well and Ms. Lauren is adorable and so much fun for Daniel to "play" with.

He has now had four speech therapy sessions and he is just doing so well participating in therapy and we are definitely noticing a change in his language (which is likely a combination of speech therapy and the fact that he's been in school for the last month).

That day, after Daniel's first speech session, he also went for a haircut. Haircuts aren't his favorite and he has trouble sitting still (which is why it turned out a little crooked), but he did his best so that he could earn his sucker as a reward. :)
