By beautiful friend, Jillian had her second daughter, Matilda Rose. The bloomers were the gift from my mom. The new baby has the same initials as their first daughter, Molly. :) I think Matilda looks a lot like her big sister.
We got one step closer to having our fence. It has been a very long process. Waiting for the HOA to approve our plan, then finding someone to build the four columns that are required at each corner, then waiting for the weather to be warm enough for the guys to actually build the columns (kids are watching the crew build the columns), then having a tree guy come out to cut a huge limb that was in danger of coming down (on our children or on our new fence), and now we are in the middle of a four-week wait for the fencing material to arrive, ready to be installed.
Alice insists on kissing Daniel before she goes to bed (nap and for the night). Sometimes he obliges.
In the middle of January, Daniel caught a stomach bug and by some MIRACLE, no one else caught it! He learned very quickly to throw up in the metal bowl. He was so good about it! He carried that bowl everywhere he went and even after he was over the tummy bug, it took him a few days to give up the bowl.
Etta and I went to the Hop, Skip, Jump program at GiGi's Playhouse.

We took a donut detour on our way to Hobby Lobby one morning. Thing is, Krispy Kreme is most definitely NOT "on our way" to Hobby Lobby. Ha!
Some days Daniel decides not to nap. Sometimes, he builds elaborate train tracks instead.
GiGi's Playhouse Gala!
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is the gala & auction and this year it was Mardi Gras themed and we really had a fun night!
Etta represented at several of the tables. :)
I didn't drink, but I sure felt hung over the next morning. These little snuggle bugs were kind enough to wake me up that day.
