Etta- 5 years, Daniel- 22 months, Alice- 3.5 months
We went to the park a few times. (Not always the same park)
Daniel discovers his shadow and it's the CUTEST damn thing ever! I'm seriously considering submitting it to America's Funniest Home Videos!
Etta eats a "non-preferred" food.
I have made many parenting choices that I never thought I would make and allowing my child to watch tv on her iPad while she's eating is one of them. I'm sure some may not agree with our choice to allow this, but I don't care. I don't really want to defend myself to you. I will just say that raising a child with special needs can feel like you're fighting many battles ALL. DAY. LONG. and this is just one of those things that I don't fight. In fact, it comes in handy when getting Etta to eat non-preferred foods (in this case, sweet potato fries). ;)
Our kids love when we choose to eat out at a Mexican restaurant! We have a couple of chips n' salsa lovers and we love that about them!
Alice started rolling over in August (back to front. She had already figured out going front to back). I never got a great video of her doing this as she was learning it. Just wanted to make note of it.
Daniel learns to drink from an open-mouth cup! I really need to work on giving him a cup at meal times... using his straw cup is just easier, but I know this is a skill he's ready to master.
Next up... Our family vacation! (Trip to Alabama and Florida)
