Oct 2013- Lito, Lita, Tia Juana & Tio Ed

My Dad and Chris went on a big long road trip with our close family friends, Joan and Ed. They spent nearly three weeks together and, to quote a post from Aunt Joanie's Facebook page,
"We're home! 17 states, 5,455.3 miles, 20 days, still friends! Best road trip ever!!!"

So, while they were on their grand tour of the United States, they popped into Tennessee for a few days to see us! They weren't here for very long, but I think we did our best to make the most of it and we all had a really great time!

They pulled into town just fifteen minutes before I needed to leave the house to get Etta from school that day. I left a napping Alice and my dad hopped in the car with me and Daniel to surprise Etta at school. It took her a minute to notice him, but when she did, we got the reaction we were hoping for! She loves her Lito!

We had a great dinner at Frankie's that night.
Joan says, "I want one!"

The next morning we went on out to Gentry Farm to do our annual pumpkin-patch-on-a-farm thing. It was a lot of fun having them there to share that with us this year.

After the farm, we went up to Brentwood to have lunch and so I could show them the new location for GiGi's Playhouse Nashville! (We had *just* signed the lease on the property. I will be writing an entire post on GiGi's very soon).

We spent most of the rest of their visit hanging around the house.

I left the kids at home with Keith so I could run a few errands with the Homa/Ohman crew. Of course, we went to Target (aka: The Happiest place on Earth) while we were out.

They left the next morning. It was a quick visit, but we were so glad they added us to their Road Trip adventure!

See y'all in a couple weeks for Jason and Rene's wedding extravaganza!
