Etta Field Trip- Ellington Agricultural Center

Etta's class went on one last field trip before the end of the school year. They went to the Ellington Agriculutral Center up in Nashville. I went along as a chaperone, of course. I carpooled up with my friend Leslie (Keagan's mom) and I rode back with a different Leslie (one of Etta's classmate's, Lucy's, mom). It was good to spend a little time with some of the other moms.

This guy was a great storyteller.
Etta is still the smallest in her class (even though she's a year older than most of them).

Soon after we went into the museum, I spotted Keith's cousin, Jason with his son Joshua. (Can you see him in the background of this picture?) Jason and his family live out in the Antioch area. Joshua is in 1st grade. Pretty neat that both of our kids had a field trip to the same place on the same day!

With our cousins Jason and Joshua:

Once we got back to school, we had a picnic lunch on the playground and then I signed Etta out and took her home to rest. :)

We had a fun day. It was hot and Etta didn't had the patience/ attention span for a few of the activities (she would ask to go potty any time she started to feel just the tiniest bit bored. We probably went potty 3-4 times in the couple of hours that we were there), but we still had a great time!
