Etta likes to play this game where she pushes you down so you lay down and then she will come around and grab your head/shoulders and push on you till you sit up. Apparently, she had to grab her Nana by her hair to get her back up. (Also, Daniel took this opportunity to steal Etta's cup)
Happy First Birthday, Buddy! We Love You!

Hi, my cousin Abby gave me the link to your blog as I am having a construction party for my sons 2nd birthday in January. I have purchased the same tool belts that you gave as party favors. I am curious as to what all you put in them and where you found the plastic tools? Your party looks like it went great and your little man had a wonderful time!!
Hi Emily!
Inside the tool belts, I put lollipops shaped like traffic signs, construction themed rubber duckies, tool shaped gummies, tiny plastic tools, construction themed stickers, and construction themed tattoos. The kids also got to take home the hard hats and the Home Depot aprons that we used during the party.
The aprons were free from Home Depot (just ask someone in Customer Service with a sweet smile on your face. lol). I got most of the party favors from orientaltrading.com (hard hats, rubber duckies, gummy tools, street sign suckers). The tiny tools (that I put in the favor tool belts) came from Dollar Tree. I also found some fun things over at birthdayexpress.com. I made the construction barrier that was outside with a wooden sawhorse and some paint. The child-size plastic tools came from Ross (though I think I've seen them somewhere else...)
Good Luck with your son's party! Let me know if you have any more questions!
