Perdido Key- Dec 2013

The day after Christmas (Thursday), we packed up and loaded up and we headed down to the beach for a few nights. It's hard to be SO close to the beach and not actually go! So, we made some fairly last minute reservations (I had booked the condo on the drive to my mom's on Saturday) and we tacked on a little beach vacation to our Christmas vacation.

It was actually pretty overcast and rainy the whole time we were there, but it still felt like a mini vacation and we enjoyed looking at the water for a few days.

My mom and Bill came and joined us on Friday afternoon.

We just had a good time relaxing and eating out and swimming and spending time together.

We packed up and loaded up on Sunday morning and headed back home to Tennessee. The drive back took us about eight hours and we were very happy when we finally arrived!
