Etta's Holiday Party

Yesterday was Etta's last day of school before the winter break and her class had a party to celebrate! They made gingerbread houses with graham crackers and they had "snowball fights" with ping pong balls and they made "Snowman Soup" (hot cocoa and some other ingredients in a baggie) and they sang songs and they exchanged gifts with their classmates and they ate a tree shaped brownie for snack (Etta only ate the icing and small M&M's that were meant to be the ornaments). I wore Daniel in the Ergo and he slept most of the time.

Etta accidentally discovered that she likes icing...

She also discovered that she likes gumdrops! I told her that she wasn't supposed to eat them, that they were for her little house. So, she would get them out of the bowl, stick them onto the house and then immediately pull them off and pop them into her mouth. She did this about three times before I put the kabosh on it! lol.

Yay for no school for a few weeks! Bring on the holidays and playdates!
