Etta's 3rd Birthday Day

Etta and I spent the day just sort of hanging around the house. She helped me decorate the favor bags for her party on Saturday and I let her watch an awful lot of cartoons! ;)

Keith came home a little early so we could celebrate her birthday together. We gave her few small gifts and a couple things her Lita and Lito had left behind for her when they were here last.

Then we sang "happy birthday" to her and gave her the Little Debbie Zebra Cake we give her every year. If you don't know the Zebra Cake Story, it's part of Etta's birth story and you can find that here (you have to scroll down to the bottom entry titled "Zebra Cake"). So, after we sang and blew out the candles, she tore into that cake! She loved it and she had her Momma and Daddy laughing.

She was also really interested in playing with her candles. She carried them round for the rest of the evening...

Then, we took her outside and showed her her "big" present from us. A water table!!! Yay!
