Tuesday morning, Etta's Grandmomma Mel came down to play with our spunky little toddler. She brought with her a doll cradle that really belongs to Etta's Aunt Jessi. Of course, Etta loved getting IN the cradle. She evetually figured it out and covered her babies with their little baby blanket and signed "sleep" to them. We spent the morning playing up in the playroom and then after lunch, while E was napping, I got to go to the grocery store... BY MY SELF! I walked up and down each aisle with leisure and bought more than I probably would have had my little helper been with me. Thanks Mel for staying a little longer so I could take care of that.

I had a great time with my granddaughter Etta. What a little blast of fresh air she is, a joy, a delight, a.. well I could go on and on but I wouldn't want you to think I was a mushy grandma, heh heh. I especially loved when she was singing to me while peeking under her door to let me know nap time was over! SWEET
