To Alabama for Nana May's Birthday

My Mom and Pops weren't able to make it up to Tennessee to celebrate Etta's birthday that first week of June because Bill had fallen and broken his hip a few weeks before (which, was super scary and a painful recovery for Bill). Everyone was sad that we were missing out on spending that time together. Since we were not planning to make a stop in Headland during our July vacation to the beach (which we usually do), we decided to make an extra trip to Alabama at the end of June to celebrate my Nana's 89th birthday. The trip is always long, but I am so glad we went. We were able to spend some great time with family and the kids had the best time swimming in the pool all weekend.

Daniel had the best time playing hide-and-seek with his cousin Kessler!

We had a great little visit and none of the kids wanted to leave when it was time to go- especially Daniel. :)
