Nashville Christmas with The Wenzlers- 2014

We spent Christmas with Keith's family in Nashville the second weekend of December since we would be traveling to Alabama to spend Christmas there, as we do every year.

We went in the morning and had a good visit and ate lunch together and opened gifts and played a "dirty santa" gift exchange that wasn't so "dirty" because nobody stole from each other. Ha!

Please excuse all of the following blurry pictures. I forgot to bring a real camera and had to use my phone instead.

At home, Alice has this Curious George stuffy that I had originally bought for Etta, but Etta tossed it to the side and Alice claimed it as her own a few months ago. Along with her "bean-tee"s, that George is one of her most favorite things in all the world. So, when we got to Grandmomma and Granddaddy's house that day and Alice feasted her little eyes on "Big George"... Well... It was love at first sight!

Etta played with a balloon the entire time we were there (chewing on the end and spreading her cold around the room) and Daniel opened (or helped open) as many gifts as he could find.

We snapped a group shot before heading back home for naps. Our new family member, Big George, joined us for the photo.

THIS is one of my favorite pictures! I laughed so hard at Keith's speedy stance as he tried to run out of the picture. Hahahahahahaha! Looks like he is about to run so fast that he *might* take flight!

Of course, Grandma let Alice take Big George home with her and Alice was VERY happy with this arrangement.
