First, my friend Amy had her baby, Claire, in August and I got to go visit/meet her a couple weeks later. She was SO cute and SO tiny and SO snuggly... Hard to believe I'll have my own squishy soon. Congrats to Amy and Greg and big sister Emma!
Last week, Etta and I met our friends Lacy, Jude, and Nathaniel at Shipwrecked for a play date. I really like that place because I can just kind of let Etta go and she can pretty much hold her own. It doesn't involve me having to climb up into a play structure to help make sure she's safe. She loves the ball pit in that place and the slides and just the freedom to run around and choose what SHE wants to do.
