Growing Up Wenzler

As my 1st blogaversary approaches (April 17th), I've been thinking back over the last year and looking at old posts (even going back to Etta's old site to watch videos and read journal entries). When I was trying to come up with a name for this blog, I had to really consider a name that didn't necessarily focus on Etta because I thought, if we were lucky, maybe one day we could have more children. So, I think my dad came up with the title, "Growing Up Wenzler" and I rolled with it.

I'm glad we chose the name we did because Etta, Keith and I are thrilled to announce that, come October, Etta won't be the only one growing up Wenzler. Baby number two is on its way!

I'm due on October 14th, which makes me 12 weeks (a.k.a. three months, a.k.a. ALMOST in the second trimester- YAY!). I have actually been feeling really good. No nausea (though I didn't have any with Etta either). My main symptom has been EXTREME fatigue, though that seems to be letting up a little now. I'm starting to sport a little bump already. Not sure where THAT came from so early... but it's definitely there.



I had an appointment with my OB today and she did a quickie ultrasound to check on a bleed that was causing a bit of concern earlier in the pregnancy and it's nearly gone, but I also got to see the baby wiggling all around. Moving arms and legs and rolling over, I even got a pretty clear shot of it's little foot.

Here we go again!
