This afternoon I went to a sip-and-see for Lauren and Liam. Etta stayed home with Daddy so she could get a good nap. It was a sweet little event and so great to see Liam. I hadn't seen him since Halloween and the little man got bigger! MY biggest surprise today was walking in to the house and seeing Kennedy out of the corner of my eye. I totally burst into tears! I don't think she really understood, but her mom, Kathy did. Kathy gave me a good hug while I tried to get over my sniffles. Kennedy was my "Mini" before my mini came along. I took care of that sweet girl (and her baby brother) for about a year and a half. When I left (to have Etta) Kennedy was four-and-a-half and Price had JUST turned one. Well, now, that string bean is almost 7! The first thing Kennedy told me was that she was going to open a bakery. We spent some time discussing the confections she planned to sell and what she would name the place. It was sweet. Like old times. I didn't get many pictures at the sip-and-see because I put myself in charge of Lauren's camera.

Kennedy and Liam
Just for fun- here are a few pictures of me and Kennedy from a few years ago:
(by the way, this blog post took me FOREVER to write tonight because I spent hours reading all of the old blog posts from the blog I kept for The Stewarts while I was nannying Kennedy and Price. Sweet memories!)
This was on a trip to the zoo the very first week I started keeping Kennedy. She was *almost* 3
Sweet Price. He's about 6 months old here.
POOL DAY! Best. job. ever!
After the sip-and-see, I came home and changed and Keith, Etta, and I went over to Aunt Becky's house for Thanksgiving. The food was great and the company was even better. The new dining room table is so big that someone decided we should play a couple of hilarious rounds of the game "telephone" when we finished eating. We had a great night, filling that house with love and laughter. I was worried about Etta falling apart, but she did great. We left a little before 7:30 so we could get her home and in bed.
(giving Momma a kiss. awwww...)
