Halloween 2011

For Halloween this year, Etta dressed up as Dorthy from Wizard of Oz and Daniel was a little bat. I wanted him to be Toto, but I couldn't (didn't) find a dog costume small enough for a newborn in time. Oh well, they were both still really cute!

Etta had a bit of a meltdown as we were getting her dressed, but she got over it. She had a lot of fun going door to door knocking and putting candy in her bucket. She even knocked on our door when we got back and my mom gave her a piece of candy to put in her bucket. We ran into most of our neighbors while we were out and got to show off our new little bat. It was a nice night and Etta only ate one dumdum before she was so sticky she needed a bath.
On our way!

Trick or Treat!

BIG yawn! Time for bed!

Etta's Fall Party

Etta had her very first school party last Friday. I had only had Daniel five days before, but I was sure as hell gonna be there for her party! So, I had my mom watch Daniel for about an hour so Keith and I could go up and celebrate Fall with Etta and her classmates.

They had some cute little Fall activities going on in the room (playing in fall leaves, bowling with and inflatable pumpkin, painting pumpkins...), and they had a fun Fall snack, and sang a few Fall songs. I remembered to bring my camera (yay!), but I had apparently forgotten to give it a good charge (boo!). I got about four pictures before the battery died, but thankfully, my friend Shauna (and fellow EC class mom) took a bunch of extra photos for me. (Thanks Shauna!)
She got more paint on her face and in her hair and on the floor than she got on her pumpkin. lol.

Look how tiny Etta is compared to her peers. Love our little Mini! <3

Getting ready to go home!

We stopped by the "pumpkin patch" on our way out.

I thought this was such a cute idea!

Our Anniversary/ Gentry's Farm

Sunday was our seventh wedding anniversary. We celebrated by hanging around the house in the morning and taking Etta to Gentry's Farm in the early afternoon to pick out pumpkins and take a few photos. (That night, we exchanged cards and had some cheesecake).

and in the same wagon back in 2009

Etta's cute shirt was made by Lydia at Layne James Embroidery. We think it's adorable! But, Etta thought it was SO FUN to untie the cute bow on the ghost over and over. Grrr! Guess I need to break out the hot glue gun! ;)
