The next morning, mom and I got up, got dressed and we loaded the car with all of my serving platters, decorations, and the food. Then, we went to Publix to pick up the petit fours, balloons, and ice before heading over to Aunt Becky's house where the shower was going to take place. April met us there and we got to work! It felt like it took forever to unload that car, but we got it all in the house and unpacked and placed and hung and plated. Before we knew it, it was 2:30 and half the guests were already there. It was a nice afternoon with about 40 guests and lots and lots and lots of gifts for the new baby-to-be, Molly!

Now, you may not believe this, but I threw ANOTHER baby shower TODAY! Yup! I had one shower on Saturday and another one on Sunday. The shower today was co-hosted by my friend Amy and it was honoring two of our friends, Suzy and Emily. The event was to take place at Amy's house. On Friday, Amy let me know that she and her sweet Emma both had strep and that it would not be a good idea for her to be around everyone much less have everyone at her house. Since I had purchased all of the food (because I already had to buy food for the shower on Saturday) and I also had all of the decorations and I was the co-host, I decided to change the location to my house. We sent out emails and text messages to get the word out about the change of plans and everyone was so sweet and accommodating. I had several offers from friends to come help since Amy was out of commission. Such a sweet group!
So, Saturday night, my mom helped me prep food for the shower on Sunday and I cleaned my house. ;) This morning, in between rounds of cleaning we said goodbye to my mom and my sisters as they had a long drive ahead of them. The visit felt much too short, but it was enough to recharge my family battery for a little while. After they left I showered and got dressed and finished
